Marston with a LeMat Revolver
The LeMat Revolver is a revolver featured in Red Dead Redemption. It is considered one of the 5 Rare Weapons of the game. It is a single-action revolver with a high capacity 9-shot cylinder. This weapon's high capacity allows for more shots between reloads and allows the player to gain the upper hand, especially in short, intense firefights.
The LeMat Revolver uses Revolver Ammo.
Obtaining
The player can purchase the LeMat revolver from the Gunsmith in Escalera for a base price that is based on the players Honor level, after completing the gameplay mission "The Gates of El Presido".
In Multiplayer Free Roam the revolver can be found in Fort Mercer. In free-for-all modes the LeMat Revolver can be found in multiple crates and are very powerful; sometimes changing the tide of the battle.
This gun can be unlocked in Multiplayer at level 46.
Trivia
- The LeMat has a 16-20 gauge shotgun barrel beneath the main barrel [1], but is unusable in Red Dead Redemption.
- The LeMat reolvers were used in the American Civil war from 1861–1865.

- In a Hail of Bullets: Kill 500 enemies with any pistol or revolver in any game mode.
- Bullseye: Get 250 headshots in any game mode.
- The Gunslinger: Get a headshot while in Expert Mode in Single Player.
- Exquisite Taste: Purchase a rare weapon from a gunsmith.
