The Legendary Sun Gator is a species of animal found in Red Dead Online.
Description[]
This alligator has been spotted by residents in Lakay. It has a distinctive orange coloring which can be easy to spot among the green and brown of the bayou.[1] It is patient and cunning, biding its time before it takes down prey. It is rarely seen outside early hours of the morning and favors heavy fog and mist.
Tips[]
It has a higher chance of spawning between 6am and 9am during foggy weather.
The Gator's skin is tough, so the player needs to shoot it several times to sedate it.
Crafting[]
After hunting and killing the gator, the player can sell the pelt to Gus Macmillan and he will craft it into garments.
