Lemuel is a villager from Butcher Creek.
Events of Red Dead Redemption 2[]
Lemuel is first encountered sitting under a railroad track. The player asks him if he's okay, but Lemuel deliriously exclaims, "It’s in me!" and mentions Butcher Creek. The protagonist takes him to said village, where a friend of Lemuel, Obediah Hinton, expresses his relief that Lemuel is safe. Hinton says that Lemuel is a victim of "darkness", before Lemuel abruptly attempts to strangle the player, who quickly fights him off. Obediah then takes Lemuel into the house, and the latter is not seen again.
