Mateo Clisante is a Minor character and a bounty target featured in Red Dead Redemption.
Background
Mateo Clisante is a wanted outlaw and can be captured or killed depending on the player's choice.
Interactions
Mateo plays a small role in the mission "The Gunslinger's Tragedy", during which he, along with Geraldo Elisaldez and an unnamed bandito, harass John Marston when he first enters Chuparosa. While the unnamed bandito pesters Marston to give up his boots and money, Clisante sneaks up behind Marston and steals his hat. The trio then laugh, but Marston draws his weapon and kills all but Clisante. Clisante begins to beg for his life, but Marston shoots him in the stomach and takes his hat back, dusting it off while Clisante bleeds to death.
However, despite being killed in "The Gunslinger's Tragedy", Mateo can be found encountered during the Tesoro Azul gang hideout, but he will be hostile.
Trivia
- In Undead Nightmare, there exists a Bruiser which looks exactly like him.
