  • Hello.

Yesterday, you removed the fact that Honor changes depending on Arthur's choice of going with John or going back for the money, in the mission "Red Dead Redemption". When I re-added this, you removed it again.

However, Honor does change depending on which choice is made. I remember this being the case, particularly in a run where I tried to end it with low Honor and had the low Honor version of the last ride etc, but then died with high Honor purely because my choice to go with John increased my Honor sufficiently.

I also have some videos which should directly showcase this. If you look at this video, in which the player goes with John, you can see (specifically at 25:35) the Honor increase. Meanwhile, this video, where the player goes back for the money, shows the Honor decrease as a result of the choice (specifically at 26:18).

This is direct proof, and so I would therefore expect you to not undo this. Doing so will result in a block being issued for removing perfectly valid content from pages.

    I hope this makes sense.

I get it now.  So even if you have a full Honor meter of +8, but then went back for the money, then your honor slightly decreases by 1, but this, however, does not stop you from getting the High Honor ending in that choice (as long as the Honor meter is still high, like at Honor +7, for example), as shown in this video.  I think I'm starting to understand now.

    • Yes, that is correct. Under normal circumstances, the Honor change sustained by either choice is not enough to influence the actual ending. Only if it is extremely close to neutral can it do that (which is what happened to me).
