  • Hello,

When it comes to talking about the protagonist in Redemption’s stranger missions, which can be done with John or Jack, please do not add two links in one word. While I understand what you’re trying to do by having both, it makes it confusing for the person reading and may take them somewhere unwanted.

Additionally, please don’t write something like this in a sentence:

John Marston Jack Marston then decide to...

This is for grammatical reasons. On these pages, it’s best to leave "Marston" unlinked; if you link Marston by itself, it takes players to a disambiguation page (which, now I mention it, could do with updating), which is also a valid option.

Thank you for your work across the wiki,

    Wagwan piffting23

  • Hey there.

Just out of interest, where can you find the dialogue about Isaac during the mission “A Fisher of Men”? I’ve tried to find it by replaying the mission, but thus far I have been unsuccessful. This is potentially quite valuable information, because it helps to define the time period of when Isaac was alive and how old he was when he died.

    • Thank you. I always assumed that Isaac died as a baby or young infant, but evidently that was not the case. As for when he died, if it’s a long time before Jack was born, then probably 1890 at the latest. This is just an estimate and I’m sure we’ll never know, but it’s an interesting topic nonetheless.

    • I'd say 1894 is the latest he could've died, although obviously it was longer ago then that. I'd say he was probably around Jack's age when he died, 3-5 years old, since Arthur compares Isaac to Jack.

    • I would imagine that Isaac was born in around the mid-1880s and died at the end of the decade or perhaps at the beginning of the next. Pure speculation, but that would be my guess.

  • Hi there.

I saw that you made an edit to the John Marston page, claiming that his father died in the Chicago bar fight (in the one that he went blind in, presumably). You said that this is stated in the mission "Wolves, Dogs and Sons", but I found no mention of it on the dialogue page.

Could you please tell me where you found this information? I would like to be sure that there is a source for it, which I’m sure you’ll understand and appreciate.

    Cheers!

  • Sorry, I looked for it afterwards but couldn't find any thing in the pre release material about a body count. I think that everyone just took the numbers at face value. I would have messaged back on the talk page, but forget to. Sorry for wasting your time.

    • Hi Raziel Reaper

I am having problems with my discussion page about the Blackwater Massacre. I want to respond to the other comments, however it only lets me add an image. It will not let me reply. Do you know what could be wrong with it?
