I’m curious about your recent edit to the Angelo Bronte page, in which you added a number of businesses that he supposedly owned. Although I’ve undone it because it needs sourcing, I was wondering where you found the information? If it’s a reliable source, I can re-add it.
Ah, I see. The only problem is that a list of accounts is fairly ambiguous. Hard to say if he really owns these businesses outright or if it’s just shares in them, perhaps even extortion or protection money of some kind, given that there’s a specific figure next to each one.
I’ve changed it so that there’s a link to the List of Accounts page in a sentence about his various financial connections.
Sorry about the character leading images and other things that were screwed up in my edit. Classic editor became real janky around the end, and the article was published with code that was a strange hybrid of visual and source editor.
Since I've seen you correcting me very often recently I just wanted to apologize for spelling mistakes (and others) I made in the last few pages I've created and for the ones I'm going to make in the future. I guess I'm just a sloppy writer. Thank you for correcting them and for expanding the articles.
I'm writing to you to remind you that on the 19th of November, 2018, you were warned by administrator, JamesTheNerdKing about your continued edit farming. In the time since, I have kept a close eye on you and have taken note of the fact that although you did acknowledge this warning, you have chosen to completely disregard this and continue to do so. Upon responding to James' message, confirming that you would cease such behaviour, you proceeded to edit your message, not once, but a total of seven times within the space of fourteen minutes. Continuing on from this, there have been multiple occasions where you have edited a page and then edited again multiple times in the span of a few brief minutes, with some edits only being changes in punctuation that were only added in previous edits.
In regards to the next topic of discussion, upon review of the recent edits made to the wiki, I noticed that you created a page by the name of "Blackwater (Sheriff ?)Police Chief (online)", and as previously stated, proceeded to edit the page multiple times, albeit low-effort, before clearing the page completely and then redirecting to a page with the exact same contents as before. In future, when creating new pages, please ensure that they are correctly named before going ahead with publishing it.
By no means am I here to cause an unwanted uproar but rather to remind you that you have received warnings that have gone ignored on many occasions, I only ask that you acknowledge my message and put a stop to this, as I can assure you that continued violations will be met with consequences.
I am not trying to doing that and I am trying my best to minmize it. I sometime notice small mistakes and do place them as minor edits so that I will not been seen abusing it. Sorry for editing my message again. Also, the page Blackwater (Sheriff ?)Police Chief (online) I was having a difficult time deciding on the name because the game refer to his name as sheriff and police chief.
I am having a difficult time trying to reduce the amount of edits on a page. I am just tried of getting yelled at for this stuff (I even place minor edit on some of the small edits I made). I am going back to the wiki that I adminstrate.
Don't feel bad and aleast you did acknowlege that you have a problem. Just try to improve your editing behavior so that admins and mods don't mad at you. I have encounted you before on other wiki pages. I do recall that you once got block on COD wiki for not naming your images properly and that you learn from your mistakes. You are a good admin on the Detroit Become Human wiki and I know that you contribute a lot to other wikis.
I actually don't understand it, whenever any other staff member asks you to not do something you'll be cool with it and yet when I ask the same of you, you completely lose your mind, threaten to leave the wiki and then claim that everybody hates you. I can assure you that nobody here hates you, we're just trying to enrich your editing skills and to get you to adhere to our guidelines.
I am not trying to do that and it is not my intent. Sorry. I understand what you are trying to tell me, I have expericance as a admin on another wiki and we have the same policy. I will try to keep my edits to minimum.
I do not know what page(s) I did duplicate edits on, so that I can make sure that this type of thing will not happen again.
During your time editing, you may (or may not) have noticed that I've been reviewing your edits as often as you publish them.
Upon review, I have become increasingly aware that you have a tendency to format character pages with "PAGENAME" as well as adding incorrect categories onto pages. I have also noticed a large number of spelling mistakes from your edits.
Obviously, a simple spelling mistake isn't something to get into trouble over. I am, however, simply writing to you to at least encourage you to proofread your edits before publishing them.
I have not added incorrect categories, its other users not me. Also, I do proofread but not throughly sometimes. How is there a problem with Pagename?
People like you keep constantly citicizing me on other wikis. I am done with this and I am going back to other wikis I go on. Goodbye
For starters, in accordance with the new administration on the wiki, we decided to scrap the PAGENAME concept in favour of actually writing character names. As for incorrect categories, you have been adding the Redemption Characters category on characters that appear only in Redemption II, and therefore require the Redemption 2 Characters category, as seen on the David Geddes page where besides myself, you are the sole editor of that page.
Well, I am a Bureaucrat on another wiki and we would inform users about scraping certain templates and remove it from people using them. You make it sound like I place all of pages in the wrong categories, when I only did that to a few pages. Do not contact me anymore I am done with this wiki and not coming back.
This change was made before the release of Red Dead Redemption II, all the way back in June, during a time where the only editors of the wiki, were the admins and moderators preparing the wiki for the release of Redemption II and therefore didn't feel the need to inform others that we would be scrapping the template, as at the time it wasn't necessary to do so. Again, for the categories, I was merely correcting a simple mistake that you had made when adding the category. By no means have I criticised you in terms in your editing but rather attempted to give you a few tips in order for you to grow as an editor on our wiki, however, if you really believe that you are being criticised regarding your edits and are leaving the wiki in the response to this, I'm afraid I cannot prevent you from leaving. Apologies for any misunderstanding.
I don't care for your apologies. I no longer want to affiliate myself with this wiki. I told you to stop it.
You're dishonest. I'll admit that I placed a few RDRII characters in the wrong place and did use the redemption template. I never did used “Redemption characters” category or add characters to that category (Wiki activity show no such thing). I did input them under the “Redemption 2 characters” category.
This has gone for too long. I don't see any need to get so angry at a Moderator simply notifying you about something. Either way, this is your choice to leave and I respect it. Feel free to return at any time.
Good work on the wiki and creating many character pages, much appreciated! Just a little thing; with some characters, I noticed you name them alongside their title/position. In future, please name the articles with their name only, without additional titles like Sheriff or Deputy for example. Same goes for "Mr." and the like. :)
