Milton can most often be found wandering around Armadillo or MacFarlane's Ranch. However, he has been known to frequent Blackwater on a wagon or horseback, as well as other locations throughout New Austin and West Elizabeth. Milton can also be found working as a stagecoach driver sometimes in New Austin.

Milton wears a holster, but does not have a gun. When provoked, he will either pick up a nearby gun that has been dropped or pull out one of his rifles from thin air to defend himself.
