Background

Miriam is the daughter of the Emerald ranch owner, Eugene Wegner. It's known that she had a relationship with local farm boy Joshua Burgess, however after Joshua died of "accidental shooting", Miriam has been forced to staying inside the family house and is rarely seen outside.

NPCs around and outside Emerald ranch will tell the player that Miriam used to be frequently outside however after the death of Joshua Burgess, she's only seen watching over through the window during midnight and noon.

• A postal service wagon can be encountered with a letter from her cousin Annabel to Miriam, this gives her name and confirms that she loved Joshua Burgess.
• After the game's launch, Miriam was speculated to be Isabeau Katharina Zinsmeister. These speculations have since been proven false.
