Events of Red Dead Redemption 2
Arthur Morgan is told by Edith Downes that her son, Archie, is working at the mine in Annesburg to financially support them. She explains that his foreman does not like Archie, and that he and the other miners torment Archie on a daily basis.
Arthur approaches the entrance to the mine and finds Mr. Dockery tyrannizing Archie, commenting on his mother's job as a prostitute. Arthur becomes outraged, and demands the men leave Archie alone. Mr. Dockery becomes angered and yells at Arthur to leave the mine, before he and another miner engage in a fistfight with Arthur.
Arthur defeats the two men, and proceeds to threaten the other miners. He takes Archie away from his colleagues, gives him money and places him on a horse. Arthur sends Archie back to his mother, telling him that they should leave Annesburg and move somewhere else.
