Mrs. Londonderry is a minor character in Red Dead Redemption 2.
History[]
Background[]
Mrs. Londonderry is the widowed wife of Arthur Londonderry. She lives around Sawbone Clearing with her son. Her husband owed money to Leopold Strauss, among other people. However, due to his death, the debts were bequeathed to her.
Events of Red Dead Redemption 2[]
When Arthur Morgan searches for Mr. Londonderry in the Annesburg mine, he is informed by a foreman that Londonderry had died, so he goes to collect the debt from his widow instead. Unfortunately, Mrs. Londonderry reveals that the family is destitute and also berates Arthur, telling him that her husband worked himself to death trying to repay Strauss' loan.
Feeling pity for the family, Arthur absolves the debt, and the player may also give her money if they choose. Arthur's interactions with Mrs. Londonderry, J. John Weathers and the other debtors prompt him to kick Strauss out of the camp during their next interaction.
Mrs. Londonderry's last words can be reflected on during Arthur’s last ride.
