The Mule is a species of animal found in Red Dead Redemption 2.
Description[]
The Mule is a hybrid of the Donkey and the Horse. Despite being a mountable and hitchable animal, Mules cannot be stabled or saddled by the player. The player can place pelts and carcasses on their back.
Location[]
- Mules are located at Emerald Ranch and Guthrie Farm in New Hanover, and at Caliga Hall in Lemoyne.
- A Mule painted like a zebra appears near Emerald Ranch in New Hanover during the mission "He's British, of Course".
- Levi Simon rides a Mule in Guarma in the mission "Welcome to the New World".
- There is a Mule in Annesburg during the mission "Do Not Seek Absolution II" which is ridden by Archie Downes.
Trivia[]
- The regular Mule as well as the zebra-painted Mule can be spawned via the cheat code "You want something new".
- Mules can be sold for zero cents at the horse fence, though Clay Davies will occasionally incorrectly refer to the Mule as a Donkey and the game itself will refer to the Mule as a Horse.
