Munroe works for Vincente Montemar, the blacksmith in Blackwater. After his working hours are over, he can be encountered at the Blackwater Saloon, either drinking behind the counter or sitting at one of the tables. He can also be found playing Five Finger Fillet at Manzanita Post.
Munroe witnesses John Marston, Edgar Ross and Archer Fordham drive through Blackwater in an armored truck during the mission "And You Will Know The Truth". He and other onlookers are astounded at the sight of it.
