Norman is a minor character featured in Red Dead Redemption 2.
History
Background
Norman was at one point an outlaw who became an associate of Micah Bell. He married a woman Maddy and had a son. Norman participated in a bank robbery down south alongside Micah, which ended poorly for unspecified reasons.
Events of Red Dead Redemption 2
Micah states that he had some "unfinished business" with him. It appears clear that Norman doesn't like Micah, as he refuses to save him from being hanged and even took his guns. After escaping from jail, Micah rushes over to Norman's house and, after Norman answers the door, Micah promptly shoots him, along with Maddy, before reclaiming his guns.

Trivia
- In the Epilogue a stranger may ask the player to find their missing dog. Bearing in mind that he lives in the same house that Norman did and that he says he lost his family, it is likely that he is Norman's son.
