Description
Standing among the trees of West Elizabeth and rivaling them in height is a strange obelisk. The aesthetics of it appear similar to Nelson's Column in London's Trafalgar Square, suggesting a European influence, but there are no other obelisks in the world, nor do any people or papers make reference to it.
The purpose of the obelisk is similarly unknown, although most such structures are built for religious reasons. Whatever its purpose, artistry and care appears to have been put into its construction, making its solitary presence in the wilderness all the more confounding.
