Otis Pope is a minor character featured in Red Dead Redemption.
Background[]
Otis claims to be from the southern United States, as is evidenced from his quotes and accent. He says he arrived in Plainview with his cousin, Cletus, before being employed at the Pacific Union R.R. Camp. Unfortunately, Cletus was arrested for an unknown crime a mere two months after their arrival and is not seen in the game.
Interactions[]
Otis can commonly be found in and around Ridgewood Farm where he appears to be employed from time to time as a ranch hand and a manual worker. However, Otis has also been known to frequent Plainview and always spawns at the Pacific Union R.R. Camp which seems to be his place of residence, where he will either chop wooden desks, fix crates or work at the train track. He can also be seen in wilderness in West Elizabeth, yelling to the player that his wagon has been stolen. The player can either ignore him, or help him get the wagon back, afterwards he will pay money to the player.
