The Pacific Union Railroad Co., commonly shortened as P.U.R.R., is a railroad company featured in Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Redemption 2.

History[]

Background[]

The company was established prior to 1898. It operates in New Austin, West Elizabeth, Ambarino, New Hanover and Lemoyne, with the company's trains traveling the local train tracks.

Events of Red Dead Redemption 2[]

The player can come across Pacific Union Railroad trains in all five territories. The player can board them while they are holding at the train station.

Additionally, a random event may occur in which one of the company's trains is robbed by the Del Lobo Gang.

A newspaper in 1907 also mentions the company bought Southern and Eastern Railway following Leviticus Cornwall's death in 1899. Additionally, the Saint Denis Trolley Service, which was also previously operated by Cornwall, is now operated by the Pacific Union.[1]

Events of Red Dead Redemption[]

Prior to 1911, the company expanded its area into Great Plains and Tall Trees, where it has also set up a camp. The Pacific Union Railroad trains are commonly referred to as Blue Trains.

During "The Prodigal Son Returns (To Yale)", Harold MacDougal gets on a P.U.R.R. train to travel to Yale.

Later, in "By Sweat and Toil", the player can intervene in a robbery during which a P.U.R.R. train is attacked by bandits.
