Gold bullion given to Lieutenant General Jeb Pickett.

–In-game description

Pickett's Gold is an item found in Red Dead Redemption.

CharacteristicsEdit

There are no uses for the gold bullion, other than to sell it for $400.

Note: prices listed on this page are based upon the player having neutral honor and playing the game on Normal difficulty. If the player has high honor, the selling price will be Increased by 50% everywhere except Thieves' Landing. Low Honor decreases selling price by 50% everywhere except Thieves' Landing. While playing the game on Hardcore difficulty, money is more scarce and the base, neutral honor price of each item will be slightly lower.

Gold bullion can be sold at the Blackwater Doctor's Office for full price.

LocationsEdit

The treasure is found near Broken Tree using the eighth Treasure Map.

TriviaEdit

The name "Jeb Pickett" is most likely a reference to the real Confederate generals J.E.B. Stuart (who was in charge of the Confederate cavalry) and Pickett (known for leading "Pickett's Charge" at the battle of Gettysburg).
