Quinn Malloy is a minor character and a bounty target featured in Red Dead Redemption.

Background

Quinn is a Criminal wanted for assault and can be captured or killed depending on the player's choice.

Interactions

Quinn makes a brief appearance during the mission "On Shaky's Ground", in which he can be seen with a prostitute inside the brothel. He also appears to be one of the criminals working for Williamson gang during the assault on Fort Mercer.

Outside of missions, he can most often be found around Thieves' Landing, frequently loitering inside the saloon and around the brothel. He can also be encountered at the Tumbleweed gang hideout thrice, though he will be hostile. He can also be seen in Tall Trees or Great Plains having a camp along with another criminal, however they will not welcome the player to join them, but they may either shoot the player on sight or just ignore them.

Trivia

• His character model is available in the Outfitter under the name David Anthony.
  • His multiplayer counterpart is placed in the Walton's Gang section of the Outfitter.
• He shares a surname with Curtis Malloy, the sheriff of Valentine, however it is unlikely that they are related as Quinn's a criminal.
• From a far he could be mistaken with Sid Winkler due to their bowler hats, a shade of blue in their outfits and long, blond hair (although Malloy's are dirty). This could be especially tricky when bounty hunting them and wanting to bring them in alive.
• He has an unique red-colored bandolier.
• Similar to other Unaffiliated criminals, Quinn can be found defending a bounty target in both America and Nuevo Paraíso, even if the target in question is of Mexican descent.
• Quinn appears to have some sort of fascination with the biblical representation of the devil (otherwise known as Satan) due to his frequent mentions of the said entity during conversations. Furthermore, his multiplayer counterpart frequently mentions himself as being the Devil.
