Events of Red Dead Redemption[]

Reid can usually be found in the Armadillo saloon, playing the piano. Sometimes when he's done playing he may order a drink. Reid can sometimes also be found at a campsite in Cholla Springs, usually not too far from Armadillo. If Marston chooses to sit down, Reid will tell campfire stories. If the player steals his horse or of his company, he may pull out a rifle and give chase.

Sometimes he can also be found riding on horseback around Río Bravo. If he is near Fort Mercer and sees any of the banditos on the Fort's roof, he may recklessly open fire on them before riding away.

A long time back, when this place was still crawling with savages and decent folks was only just arriving, over at Hamlin's Passing, a wagon train got set upon by Indians. Don't know if you heard of the Bollard boys? Don't matter if you ain't. You know the type, real mean sons of bitches. Killers to a man.
