The Reutlinger Pocket Watch is a valuable item in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Description[]

The Swiss-made pocket watch was originally owned by Desmond Blythe until Arthur Morgan won it from Blythe in the fourth chapter mission "A Fine Night of Debauchery", while playing high stakes poker on The Grand Korrigan riverboat in Saint Denis.

This watch is a unique item and can be sold at high prices at the fence or can be equipped in the equipment menu. It has a gold dial and an engraved lid.

Trivia[]

  • Though Desmond Blythe mentions the watch is Swiss, the name itself, Reutlingen, is a city in the German state of Baden-Württemberg.
  • It is the most valuable watch in the entire game.
  • The Roman numeral for eight is replaced with the number thirteen on the watch's dial, a trait that is shared with many clocks in the game.
  • Fence shopkeepers will make comments on the watch if the player sells it to them.[1]
