Robbie Laidlaw is a minor character and a bounty target featured in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Background[]
Robbie Laidlaw appears to be the sole survivor of his family. He is wanted by the Scarlett Meadows Sheriff's Office for theft and fraud, and is suspected to have assaulted a deputy; the reward for his capture is thirty-five dollars.
Events of Red Dead Redemption 2[]
To get his wanted letter, the player must fulfill the following requirements:
- Complete Chapter 3.
- Capture Mark Johnson.
- Visit Old Harry Fen and acquire the family photo inside.
When the player enters Laidlaw's cabin, they are tackled to the ground by an accomplice. After fighting him off, the player then pursues Laidlaw, who runs into a field and sets it ablaze in order to make himself harder to catch. His attempts fail, however, and the player ultimately manages to apprehend him. Laidlaw is then brought to Sheriff Thomas in Rhodes, where he is imprisoned. Sheriff Thomas pays the player for Laidlaw's capture, while also being informed that arson can be added to the list of his crimes.

- Emmet Granger is mentioned to be a suspect in the Laidlaw family disappearance.
- When bringing in Laidlaw, he can be heard attempting to bribe the player with "exotic photos" of "wee fairies", strongly implying he is in possession of early child pornography, which he might have created himself using the slave cabin and its underage captives.
- If you don't inspect the Newspaper scrap on time, it won't be in your inventory and if you go to the cabin with John or Arthur again later, the envelope will be there but when you grab it, it will only give you a generic envelope that is not even in the inventory. If you go a third time, the envelope will be there, but you won't be able to pick it up and the message "You can't carry more of this item." will appear. If all this happens, you won't be able to do the bounty hunting mission.
