The Robot is a minor character and a special character featured in Red Dead Redemption 2.
History[]
Background[]
The robot was created by Marko Dragic in Doverhill. It is considered to be Dragic's "son" and the culmination of his life's work.
Events of Red Dead Redemption 2[]
The player first encounters the robot during the stranger mission "A Bright Bouncing Boy - II", in which Marko Dragic asks them to place three metal rods outside to capture electricity from a thunderstorm near Doverhill. He then instructs the player to climb to the top of a metal tower and flip a few switches to initiate the capture. Afterwards, Dragic reveals the robot to the player, intending to use the electricity to power it. The robot successfully comes to life and steps forward before falling to the floor, though Dragic is delighted regardless.
A few days later, the player can return to Doverhill to find Dragic dead in a pool of blood inside his lab and no sign of the robot. The player can find the robot by going to the other side of the map, in the Grizzlies West, where the robot will be sitting in the snow on a mountain ledge overlooking Colter, quietly mumbling "Papa" repeatedly. The player can choose to shoot the robot or simply leave it be.

The robot has a black base color with gold accents at its joints. On the right side of its head, near the ear, there's something that resembles an exhaust pipe. On top of its head is a lightbulb-like structure. Its eyes and mouth are circular in shape, and its torso is shaped somewhat like a barrel, with long arms and legs and a gold cog on its front with the numbers "969" just above it.
1907[]
The overall structure of the robot remains the same, but rust has formed on its body, hands, and joints.
