Roca de Madera (Spanish for Wooden Rock) is a natural formation in Red Dead Redemption in the Diez Coronas region of the Nuevo Paraíso territory.
It is a rock formation on top of a hill west of Casa Madrugada.

Liars and Cheats[]
In the Liars and Cheats DLC, Roca de Madera is one of the four Hunting Grounds available in the Free Roam Multiplayer mode. Here the player can hunt for bobcats, which attack in waves. After all waves have finished, the legendary animal Roberto the Bobcat will appear.
Undead Nightmare[]
During the Undead Nightmare, Porfirio Gutierrez, the first missing person in the El Presidio segment of the Missing Souls side-missions can be found at this location.
Trivia[]
- The pattern on the surface of the rock does resemble the grain of wood, reflecting on its name.
- During the Abraham Reyes mission "The Gates of El Presidio", Javier Escuella will eventually get off his horse near this location, providing the player doesn't kill or hogtie him first.
- According to Luisa, Roca de Madera is a very romantic location, and she and Abraham Reyes occasionally met there.
- Roca de Madera is based off a real-world rock formation in Monument Valley called 'Mexican Hat'.
- It is the only major rock formation that is missing from the geography of Nuevo Paraiso in Red Dead Redemption 2.
