Ross is a minor character featured in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online.
History[]
Background[]
Ross runs the General Store in Wallace Station. He previously worked as a shopkeeper in an unmentioned city, but he moved away as he needed some peace and quiet. That peace got disturbed at one point in time, as the railroad built a ticket office conjoined to his General Store, which irritated him greatly.[1]
Events of Red Dead Redemption 2[]
Arthur Morgan and John Marston can visit Ross' store, in which they can buy clothing, provisions, tonics, necessities for hunting and fishing, horse supplies, ammunition, and a selection of guns.
Trivia[]
- You can often hear Ross complain about the station clerk that operates the ticket office beside him. He claims that station clerks are all corrupt, and "would sell their own mother to make an extra buck."[1]
- After the player completes the mission "Money Lending and Other Sins III", Ross can mention to them that he heard that "poor fellow" Thomas Downes passed away.
