Sandy Dodge is a minor character in Red Dead Revolver.
History[]
Background[]
Sandy is a resident of Brimstone. According to Sheriff Bartlett, he is not a very skilled equestrian. Bartlett saw Sandy fall off his horse after digging in his spurs.
He is recognizable as the only male citizen of Brimstone without a hat on top of his head (it is tied behind his head). According to his own quotes, he is very self-important and claims to know Annie Stoakes personally, which could be possible. He talks of her needing ranch hands to help her around her ranch and talks of the Longhorn brothers giving her problems.
Events of Red Dead Revolver[]
The player can interact with Sandy first during the train ride to Brimstone, where he is first seen. Like with other Brimstone residents, his character model is recolored during "The Traincar" level. The player can then interact with Sandy on the streets of Brimstone between missions with him spawning the most commonly, along with Lily Belle Parsons. He can also be encountered with Lily in the Brimstone bank in the opening cutscene of "Range War" and can also be seen walking on the right side of the road in the opening cutscene of the last visit to Brimstone. During the "Battle Finale", he can be seen watching the duel between Red Harlow and Mr. Kelley up-close and must be protected afterwards when Mr. Kelley attempts to kill Red and the Brimstone residents.

Trivia[]
- The voice actor for this character, Lloyd Floyd, also voiced Curly Shaw and miscellaneous other characters. He has voiced characters for several other games by Rockstar Games as well.
- Sandy's outfit is in fact Smitty's outfit, only recolored. The other difference is also the fact that Sandy has his hat tied to his back, while Smitty wears it on his head.
- Sandy will also share Smitty's quotes when hurt, shot or killed during "Battle Finale".
