The Sawed-off Shotgun is a weapon featured in Red Dead Redemption 2.
Description
The Peeters & Janssens Sawed-Off is a versatile shotgun that can be used easily with one hand or dual wielded to great effect. Rough and deadly, but widely inaccurate, this weapon is ideal for close quarter combat on foot or on horseback. This gun has an ammo capacity of two rounds and can use Regular Buckshot, Incendiary Buckshot, Slug and Explosive Slug shotgun ammo. Dual wielding it with another sawed-off shotgun is highly effective, allowing the quick and brutal elimination of anything that stands in your way, man or beast.
Acquisition
This shotgun is available from all gunsmiths. It is provided by Javier Escuella during the mission "Enter, Pursued by a Memory". A second one can be bought from any Gunsmith, for the price of $85.
Alternatively, a second shotgun can be acquired from the bartender at Keane's Saloon in Valentine. There is a bottle of Gin on one of the tables, and if the player picks it up, the bartender may attack them, meaning that the player can obtain the weapon from him after defeating him.

- This is notably the weapon of choice for Charles Smith. He has a custom model, featuring a darker varnish and a black, steel barrel. Additionally, Charles is the only member of the gang to wield a shotgun as their primary weapon.
