The Scrawny Nag is a type of horse in Red Dead Online.
Description[]
The Scrawny Nag is the default horse if the player does not have a horse and serves as a backup horse if the player tries to whistle for their horse after they have been critically injured. The horse will also spawn if the player enters or exits a mission without a horse.
Since Scrawny Nag is essentially a free horse, their stats are by far the worst in the game and these horses are typically only used when absolutely necessary. The Nags appear to be a special breed of horse unlike any other in the game, though they bear resemblance to a very thin version of a Tennessee Walker. While it is possible to bond with the Scrawny Nags, most players avoid doing so due to their low stats and general appearance.
