The Semi-automatic shotgun is great for getting off a number of rounds very quickly. The recoil is quite light, considering what it is. Still, I see a lot of people think they can control it, and they can't. It's not limited to just short-range either. You shouldn't underestimate how far it can reach.
The Brun Et Fabre Semi-Auto packs both power and speed into one shotgun. Featuring a high rate of fire, quick reloads, and adequate magazine size, this shotgun is perfect for short-range combat against multiple targets. This gun has an ammo capacity of five shells and can use Regular Buckshot, Incendiary Buckshot, Slug, and Explosive Slug shotgun ammo.
Though a prototype existed as early as 1898, the Browning Auto-5 did not enter commercial production until 1902, making the weapon anachronistic in the first six chapters set in 1899, but not the Epilogue set in 1907.
Hosea Matthews can be seen with a custom Semi-auto Shotgun in certain missions.
