Sergio Abelda is a minor character and a bounty target featured in Red Dead Redemption.
Background[]
Sergio is a young Bandito wanted for assault and can be captured or killed depending on the player's choice.
Character[]
Appearance[]
Sergio appears to be the youngest of the banditos, judging from his facial features and is rather skinny. He has black hair, in style of a bob cut. He wears a greyish-brown unbuttoned vest over a light blue shirt that exposes his chest, with rolled up sleeves. He also has a red kerchief over his neck, a small bandolier across his chest, and a small, white sombrero. He wears his gun holster over his belt and wears brown pants with light brown chaps covering them. He wears sandy grey boots.
Interactions[]
Events of Red Dead Redemption[]
Sergio can most often be found around Chuparosa, frequently loitering inside the cantina. After a few drinks, he might get up with his comrades and stumble drunkenly out of the bar. He can also be encountered at the Tesoro Azul gang hideout in Multiplayer, and Fort Mercer in Singleplayer, where he will be hostile, even if the player is wearing the Bandito Outfit due to his connection to Leon Galindo.
Sergio can also be found in random encounters, like in a robbery of a supply wagon. The player can choose to help out the victim or ignore the situation and let the Banditos take off with the loot.

Trivia[]
- Sergio's character model is available in the Outfitter under the name Alejandro Cruz.
- His name may be a reference to the famous Italian director Sergio Leone, the director of the Dollars Trilogy, as well as many other spaghetti westerns.
- Like the other Banditos, Sergio is not encountered in Undead Nightmare, neither as a survivor or an undead, implying he fled to other parts of the country.
