- For the Red Dead Redemption 2 variant, see Sheep (RDR 2).
Sheep are an animal species featured in Red Dead Redemption.
Location[]
Red Dead Redemption[]
Sheep can only be found in the town of Armadillo inside a pen next to the train station. They are more common in multiplayer than in single player.
It is much harder to find sheep at night.
Sheep can be killed and skinned, at the cost of a bounty. Due to being a domestic animal, killing a sheep is not required to complete the "Unnatural Selection" achievement and trophy.
Trivia[]
- Sometimes the player will have to go into the pen itself and wait awhile before sheep will spawn. It is advisable to wander around the pen and move the camera around when waiting for one, as they usually spawn off-screen.
- Sheep have 3 variations: black, grey, and white. The black variation is extremely rare while the white variation is extremely common.
- They are essentially identical to the goat in terms of their behavior, and use the exact same sound effects.
