Slow on the Draw is a gameplay achievement and trophy in Red Dead Redemption.
The official description of the achievement is: "Get 10 assists in a single Hideout in a public Free Roam session."
Tips and Tricks
Best attempted with 2 - 3 other posse members (too many and you may not get the chance to 'assist' 10).
Try to aim for the non-lethal body parts of Outlaws, and let a Posse member finish them off.
You can also do this by whistling for your horse, shooting it with a pistol and having a posse member kill it with a shotgun. Repeat until the achievement appears. Pike's Basin is the easiest location due to the three seperate locations. You can empty out one area and do this without interference from the bandits. It shouldn't take you more than 10 minutes to do it this way. Note that you won't always get an assist, only when it says you assisted the posse member does it actually count as an assist.To make it easier, you can shoot as much gang members as you can with a non-lethal weapon and have a posse member finish them off.
