Simon "Smiley" Fawler is a minor character featured in Red Dead Revolver.
After completing "The Mine" with an Excellent rating or purchasing the Red Bandana, Smiley is available as a character in the Showdown mode. His special ability allows him to throw a few of his knives into a target like a homing missile, always killing them.

Fawler is a train robber working for the Pedrosa Brothers alongside Hoss and Juan Sanchez and is seen in the level "Railroaded". He seems to be very skilled with throwing knives. His journal entry explains that he is a loner who likes to work alone as there is less to be shared with his fellow criminals. He also prefers to use a Bowie knife over guns.
Events of Red Dead Revolver[]
Fawler is the first boss on the 5th mission in Red Dead Revolver called "Railroaded", and is located at the back of the train. He is killed by Red Harlow during the course of the level and attacks him with nothing but knives. After he is killed, Hoss takes the engineer hostage.

Trivia[]
- In Showdown Mode, Smiley actually uses Hoss' character model as his first one. In his journal page, he is also pictured in Hoss' outfit, implying Hoss' character model in the Story mode was originally Smiley's.
- If selected as the second player, he will use his own (or rather Hoss) character model.
- Smiley has unnaturally long arms compared to the other characters and Bartlett notes that he uses this distinction to use Bowie knives more easily up-close.
