Songbird are a type of bird in Red Dead Redemption. They are blue and yellow in color which makes them an easy target. But since there are very rare, small and fast it will be hard to only hunt songbirds.

Once you see a bird that is bright yellow or blue, you've found it.They resemble the Indigo Bunting. Songbirds can often be found in the Sidewinder Gulch.
Like most dead targets, a dead songbird becomes an x on the minimap when John kills it and is close enough to it. Birds are particularly hard to find once they are on the ground amongst the foliage.
