the articule says the gun is semi automatic then goes on to say it was one of the first fully automatic pistols. I think in real life it was semi sutomatic, and in the game it is going to be fully automatic.
Mauser actually produced select fire models that allowed the gun to be fired fully automatic, or semi-automatic. Read the Wikipedia article. It's a great read if you have an interest in the gun. On another note I felt that the phrase "However the full-auto is incredibly slow in multiplayer" read like an opinion and I have edited it reflect the factual change in the rate of fire, in addition to correcting puncuation.

Probably far more than a day late and a dollar short, but I'm just going to leave this for whoever may come after. Automatic in firearms can refer to different things, and in reference to weapons that primarily are single shot (pistols, hunting rifles, shotguns, etc.) the word "automatic" refers to the process of ejecting the spent cartridge, loading the next round, and priming the firing mechanism--it's a sort of short hand for "automatic loader". In this respect it is generally analogous to the term "semiautomatic" -- although there can be differences in meaning based on the manufactuer. This is part of the reason that people will refer to weapons that can fire more than one round with each pull of the trigger are referred to as "fully automatic" to also include releasing the firing pin.
Automatic in firaearms basically means that when the trigger is depressed and held, the firearm will fire automatically fire untill the magazine is empty. NoahZlatich (talk) 07:45, November 11, 2014 (UTC)
