About the addendum concerning Thieves Landing, I was able to sell the gold for full price once I had gotten my bounty high enough for the discount in the stores there. Can someone else confirm this and change the page as needed? 09:08, May 29, 2010 (UTC)

Someone needs to take that code from the bottom of the article.

"1st map"

There's an image claiming to be the first treasure map. It is not. I'm going to remove it for now but if someone works out which map number it is, feel free to revert and correct the label. Sir Jcd 16:37, July 21, 2010 (UTC)

Re-Finding Treasure

I noticed in Undead Nightmare it is possible to find the 1st treasure map after completing the Undead Treasure Hunter Challenge, Allowing you to find the treasures in their same locations over and over. Is this possible in the regular Red Dead Redemption Campaign? 05:50, July 28, 2011 (UTC)

whoever edited the trivia section about the golds being named after people is a complete fucking idiot. I mean, when it is clearly written in the game who the gold was given to, why the fuck would he come up with Hariett Tubman or Frederick Douglass? These golds were given to generals (as the game says) not abolotionists.

Misplaced Map Pictures

It appears that the pictures of the maps shown are above the actual divider/marker for the treasure they are connected to. This may lead people to believing the Picture is attatched to the previous Treasure. (It did for me, at least).

It seems like an easy-enough fix, but I am not adept at the 'finer intricacies' of wiki-editing, so I must therefore pawn the task off on someone else! Good luck! Piffinatour (talk) 06:07, April 29, 2013 (UTC)

The original location of the maps followed the list of items acquired from each chest. So, when completing Rank 1, "Treasure Map 1" is acquired and the map image immediately followed that listing.
I agree that is less obvious than including the map within the corresponding Rank that it applies to, however, so I've shifted all the images down and added a caption clarifying that this is "Treasure map 1, used for locating the Rank 2 treasure" for example.
