I like this one more than the Henry Repeater. What do you guys think? -- CoD addict 15:46, July 16, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah I like the older weapons that you get at the beginning of the game like the winchester and the cattleman.Sidewinder82 15:49, July 16, 2010 (UTC)
What's with the whole "# If it is fired 200,000 times it will become extremely powerful capable of killing a bear in one shot even in the side" trivia? RontoRaider 02:14, March 20, 2011 (UTC)
Real-World Inspiration[]
The Winchester Repeater is infact based off a Winchester Model 1892. According to IMFDB (The Internet Movie Firearm Database), I deeply trust this website in ID'ing weapons. User:11Morey March 19, 2011 11:48 PM (EST)
yeah this the best repeater thats what i think and its way better than the damn boom stick
1892 or 1894[]
There seems to be disagreement over whether the real world inspiration is the Winchester Model 1892 or 1894 and the article has been edited back and forth a couple of times. Personally, I don't know enough about either weapon to have a strong opinion, however there is one key feature that to me looks a lot more like the 1894 than the 1892. Compare the oval area between Marston's hands on the in-game picture to the one on the 1894. This area is different on the 1892. I'm leaving the article as is for now because I'm not interested in seeing it go back and forth, but for those who keep changing it back to 1892, please justify that decision here in relation to the pictures below which otherwise seem indistinguishable.

Marre finish?[]
In any gunsmith, in a display case there's what appears to be a winchester repeater with a matte finish, with the barrel and reciever being black, should this be added to trivia? 94.169.233.237 18:11, August 2, 2012 (UTC)
