The Stranger is a minor character in Red Dead Redemption.
Background
He, Andreas Müller, Landon Ricketts, and another man named Manolo Santador were playing a Poker game, when John comes along and is asked to join. After Müller has accused John of cheating and is killed in a duel, The Stranger takes a girl hostage. He holds a knife to her throat, threatening to kill her.
Interactions
The Stranger is only seen in Lucky in Love. At first, he, Ricketts, Manolo Santador, Müller, and John are playing a peaceful card game. However, after Muller accuses John of cheating, everyone draws their guns, including The Stranger. Muller and John Duel, with John being victorious. So, The Stranger, angered by his friend’s death, threatens to cut a girls throat. John shoots him, and then proceeds to kill Manolo, Sanchez, and a man and woman.
Trivia
- You cannot avoid killing him without restarting the mission.
- He sometimes appears as an enemy in multiplayer, however you cannot play as him.
