To the Ends of the Earth is a Stranger mission in Red Dead Redemption 2. The quest becomes available during Chapter 2.

It was first exclusive to PC, but was later made available to consoles (for PS4 on December 13, 2019, and for Xbox One on January 21, 2020). It was added alongside Photo Mode and other previously PC exclusive features.

Story

The player is asked by a plant collector, William, to collect four Yarrow for studies. After handing over four of the plant on the mission, the player is rewarded with positive honor and Horse Reviver.

Following each mission strand, William may return as a random encounter in the wilderness, albeit rarely. In each random encounter, he will ask for Sage, Currants and in Epilogue he will ask for Wild Feverfew.

Trivia

• The first portion of this quest, to provide William with yarrow, can be completed easily as Hosea Matthews provides Arthur with 10 yarrow, 10 ginseng, and crafting tools during "Eastward Bound".
• Each time the player completes a request for William, the player will receive a Special Miracle Tonic that can be useful in the completion of the Rank 7 Herbalist Challenge.
