The Treasure Hunter's satchel allows the player to carry twice as many consumables (i.e. ten instead of five) and can be unlocked after becoming a Legendary Treasure Hunter. Unfortunately, a bug in the original edition causes items to reset to a quantity of five after loading a saved game; manually reloading the save usually restores the correct amount. The Game of the Year Edition eliminated this bug. However, a similar bug in all editions prevents the player from accumulating more than five vittles. The player can carry as many horse deeds as they desire.
