Multiplayer

The Turkmen is the 3rd horse unlocked in Red Dead Redemption's Multiplayer mode. In comparison to the sickly looking Lusitano Nag, it appears to be much stronger and faster. This horse is most likely based after the "turkoman" horse. It would not be uncommon to see a change in spelling due to the vernacular of the time. It is unlocked at level 8.

Trivia

It is a standard mount but is a good way to get around in the world, especially during multiplayer. Getting a new mount is a good thing but until the player unlocks the next mount it is a fine mode of getting around.
The name of the breed indicates that it originates from Turkmenistan.
