It has come to my attention that the "images" section of the wiki (and this is wiki-wide with the introduction of oasis as a skin) is now called photos. That makes about as much sense as using the term "screenshots" on a lifestyle-type wiki. Now this is not a life-or-death situation, but it makes absolutely no sense. I was told by a wiki helper that we are NOT allowed to change the name back into images because this violates the agreement we all signed when we created an account. I was told that I am not allowed to knowingly "lower" the quality of a wiki.

So they believe that if I change the name from photos to images, that I'll be lowering the quality of the wiki. I think this is absurd. Do you think we should be able to change the name from pictures to images, or do you believe that we, as the administration, should not be allowed to change this and should this ability be reserved only to the wiki "leaders"?

Do you think we should be able to change the name from photos to images, or do you believe that we, as the administration, should not be allowed to change this and should this ability be reserved only to the wiki "leaders"?

I look forward to reading your comments.

(yes, this is the same one as before, but this will have to do, since I can't use sitenotice anymore to bring this to attention, cause of the new oasis skin, so I have to make a new post since I can't force this blog to stay at the top of the "recent blog posts")
