Trivia[]
- Some unique items may have special traits which are not clearly specified in-game, so it is recommended caution before selling or donating them.
- While some items may respawn despite being "unique", others cannot be retrieved back nor acquired again once sold or donated without resorting to cheats or exploits. Usually, this happens with unique items which are mailed as a reward to the player, like the infamous Quartz Chunk from Deborah MacGuiness. That means that if an unreplaceable item is necessary to a particular crafting, it leaves the player no other option than to start a new game for 100% completion.
- On the other hand, some unique items which respawn cannot be sold nor donated if re-acquired by the player, therefore shall permanently occupy space in the satchel for the rest of the game.
- Some valuables cannot be donated, despite being able to sell them directly to a fence. These items are generally rewards given directly to the player - such as the Rock Statue or Bone Statue - though it remains unclear if this characteristic was intentional.
- Some valuables are classified as "materials" in the player's inventory, often indicating a design to be utilized in crafting. However, a few notable items - such as the Gold Tooth or Giant Boar Tusk - have no known recipe, thus may only be sold.
