RDRstub.jpg Hey there, cowboy. This article looks a little bit small.
I reckon you could impress me by contributing to it. Don't be shy now.

Van Horn Mansion is an abandoned structure in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online in the Roanoke Ridge region of the New Hanover territory.

A two story house overlooking the Lannahechee River, this abandoned manor is a relic of the original creators of the Van Horn Trading Post's plan for the area, and much like the trading post itself never lived up to those plans. The property has been abandoned for sometime, with most of the upper floor and windows boarded up, and crates and debris scattered around the exterior.

Following a robbery two criminals have moved into the mansion to use it as a hideout, and upon the player's arrival they are asleep, one on a bed roll, the other at a table, having stoked the fire and nodded off counting their take.

The Van Horn Mansion is situated southwest of Van Horn Trading Post just off of the road to Saint Denis.

  • [platforms tag needed] The criminals in the mansion and the money will not spawn while playing as John Marston.[verification overdue]
  • It is possible to make the money on the table respawn infinitely. The player must get inside the manor, kill the two outlaws, take the money, save the game and then load the save file. After reloading, the money will be once again on the table and the outlaws will respawn as well.[1]
