Description[]
Vultures are large birds that are usually seen flying looking for decomposing material to feast on. They are some of the most common animals found around dead bodies and animal carcasses. There are two subspecies: the Eastern Turkey Vulture is found throughout Lemoyne, Ambarino and New Hanover, while the Western Turkey Vulture is found in West Elizabeth and New Austin.
Location[]
The Vulture can be found in sporadic locations throughout much of the central regions, though its highest population is in New Austin, specifically the areas in and around Armadillo in Cholla Springs.
Challenges[]

Tips[]
- Varmint rifles are the best weapon to use for ensuring a Perfect quality Vulture carcass.

Trivia[]
- The two types of Vulture in RDR2 reference two subspecies of turkey vulture in real life, the eastern turkey vulture (Cathartes aura septentrionalis) and the western turkey vulture (C. a. meridionalis).
- An apparent oversight is the Compendium portrait of the Eastern Turkey Vulture depicting another species, the black vulture (Coragyps atratus), which is not found in-game. This second vulture species found in the United States features a broader, grey-skinned head with a narrower beak.
